ABACE Exhibitor Appointed Contractor

NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO USE EXHIBITOR-APPOINTED CONTRACTOR (EAC) / STAND BUILDER

DEADLINE DATE: February 9, 2018

  • Exhibitors with custom stands may use either the official show contractor (Freeman) or an exhibitor-appointed contractor of their choice.
  • Stand design construction must be submitted for approval before the deadline.
  • A backwall or partition must be installed for each inline raw or peninsula space stand structure.
  • All back and side walls facing neighboring booths must be kept clean.
  • Exhibitors are not allowed to use the backwall or partition of neighboring booths to display their own exhibiting company name, logo, graphics, etc.
  • Backwalls visible to attendees are required to be finished.
  • Exhibitors with shell-scheme booths must order their electrical fitting, furniture, main connection, etc., from Freeman.

Important:

  • Soliciting: Not allowed on the show floor.
  • Subcontractors: Are permitted as long as prior notification and signed contract are received.
  • Insurance: All EAC’s must upload their certificate of insurance.
  • Badging: For security purposes, all EAC’s/subcontractors must wear badges during set-up and break-down. Event badges are required on show days.
  • Liability: It is the exhibitor's responsibility to ensure that all representatives of the Exhibitor-Appointed Contractor abide by ABACE2018 Rules & Regulations and to provide badges for those staff working on show days.
  • Photo ID badges: All stand contractors and EACs must wear photo ID badges during set-up and dismantling of exhibits at ABACE. The cost per badge is 200 RMB (approximately U.S. $29) and is payable only in cash on site.
  • Performance Bond and Management Fee: must be received in cash prior to move in. (Note fee changes for 2018).
